About the role:
Ampere is on the lookout for a dynamic and forward-thinking Finance Analyst to join our finance team at our Portland office. This role offers a unique opportunity to be instrumental in shaping our Forecasting, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization, playing a pivotal role in driving Ampere’s growth and success.
What you’ll achieve:
- Strategic Partnership: Serve as a finance business partner to senior leaders, supporting specific business segments and executing Ampere’s strategic plans.
- Comprehensive Analysis: Dive deep into all areas of the business, analyzing, executing, and influencing a wide spectrum of company operations, beyond the narrow focus typical in other organizations.
- Forecasting Excellence: Lead and execute key portions of the Annual and Quarterly Forecasting cycles, ensuring accuracy and driving strategic alignment between financial statements and business groups.
- Automation & Innovation: Develop and implement automated processes to deliver real-time data to business partners, empowering them to lead their organizations effectively.
- Financial Reporting: Contribute to month-end and quarter-end close activities, providing insightful commentary and analysis on results drivers and business rationale to support external reporting.
- Collaborative Change: Work closely with the finance team to drive transformative change, fostering a fun and innovative environment to create the ideal team.
- Performance Metrics: Design and present metrics and key performance indicators that drive informed business decisions.
- Strategic Recommendations: Assess financial results, decisions and contracts, recommending actions to propel Ampere towards financial success, streamlining decision-making processes.
- Process Improvement: Innovate and develop new processes to facilitate Ampere’s next phase of growth.
- Audit Support: Participate in and support external audit processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

About you:
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years in financial analysis and planning, with a strong background in accounting, FP&A, operating expenses, revenue and/or cost. MBA, CPA or studying for one a plus!
Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, and their transactional impacts.
Excel Mastery: Exceptional Excel skills—show us your expertise!
Systems Proficiency: Proven aptitude with ERP systems and understanding dataflows; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
Industry Insight: Semiconductor/manufacturing experience is highly advantageous.
Data Transformation: Ability to convert large datasets into actionable insights.
Innovative Thinking: Bring ideas, creativity, and curiosity to drive thoughtful questioning and make impactful recommendations.

Communication Skills: Excellent ability to articulate finance impacts to non-finance teams and present confidently to senior leaders.

What we’ll offer:
At Ampere we believe in taking care of our employees and providing a competitive total rewards package that includes base pay, bonus (i.e., variable pay tied to internal company goals, long-term incentive, and comprehensive benefits. The full base pay range for this role is between $97,000 and $162,000.
