About the role:
We are looking for an Entity Accountant to join our team at Ampere Computing for our Taiwan site. This role will be important to the growth and development in Taiwan.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and a great place to work
What you’ll achieve:
Ensure that entity’s US GAAP financials and statutory compliance are solid and meet the highest standards of quality. US GAAP-compliant and useful to management and outside stakeholders (external auditors, tax authority, banks and government agencies).
- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Prepare journal entries, intercompany accounts, cash flow forecast, bank reconciliation & payment and fluctuation analysis.
- Independently prepare business tax and corporate income tax filings and support other regulatory filings.
- Implement and test statutory accounting system (book 2 project) and maintain & track GAAP adjustments.
- Ensure the company is compliant with US GAAP and statutory accounting standards and regulations.
- Real-time support for management and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Project experience in a cross-functional environment.
- Support external auditors, discuss issues and propose solutions.
- Research new local regulations and accounting pronouncement for Taiwan and assist corresponding implementations.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and assist implementation of related processes and controls.
- Support Ad hoc projects and tasks.
- Be the local point of contact for accounting, finance, tax, payroll, expense questions.
About you:
- Bachelor or Master degree in accountancy
- 4+ years of financial reporting and US GAAP accounting experience with at least 3 of the required years with a national or regional CPA firm and/or sizeable MNCs.
- Prior experience with enterprise financial management systems, for example: Oracle NetSuite, SAP, Workiva, Hyperion or similar systems is preferred.
- Strong project management skills are preferred.
- Strong English language skills, both written and communication
- Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
