About the role:
Join our Quality Organization as a Senior Reliability Engineer owning product reliability (burn-in), ESD and latch up data collection. We are looking for a candidate with a quality mindset, data-driven decision-making skills, excellent communication, and willingness to work across engineering disciplines to drive Ampere product quality and reliability. You'll enjoy working with the industry's best, making an impact, and having fun as we innovate quickly and solve tough problems together.
What you’ll achieve:
- Engage with all engineering disciplines across Ampere build in quality and reliability from the product conception to post-Si
- Design and construct a reliability data collection plan for Ampere products including working with external vendors to design and bring-up burn-in hardware for high performance CPUs. Own tactical execution of stress experiments and coordinate schedules to ensure there are no roadblocks to product qualification and ramp
- Work with external vendors to design hardware for ESD and latch-up data collection
- Work with design-for-test (DFT) and Automated test equipment (ATE) teams to ensure all design for reliability features are baked into the product and test patterns are made available for stressing the product.
- Drive data analysis to find trends, signals and validate Si results against reliability models
- Incorporate learnings from previous products to drive continuous improvement including lead risk assessments to shape post-Si validation
- Interact with Customer, Procurement, Assembly and Manufacturing Test personnel, and Quality contacts to understand customer requirements, resolve quality and reliability issues related to the product qualification ramp, and high-volume manufacturing.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field of study with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of quality and reliability in semiconductors
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of semiconductor manufacturing, test, and debug
- Data center industry experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

The full base pay range for this role is between $124,900 and $208,100.
