About the role:    
  
As a CPU Architectural Design Verification Engineer, you will be a key member of the design verification team at Ampere to deliver our high-quality next generation AI integrated, cloud-native server class SoCs. You will be responsible for defining verification strategies and architecting solutions for complex verification problems. You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting AI features, nothing old or boring here. You will partner with stakeholders in adjacent domains and enable verification teams to for bug hunting and meet verification goals on schedule. You'll be involved with all aspects of product development starting with specifications through tape-out and product launch.
 
What you’ll achieve:    
  • CPU Architectural level verification
  • Developing and implementing test benches, test writing, running regressions, deep debugging
  • Owning specific architectural features, relating to security, AI features, multi-core and coherency
  • Design CPU random test generators and/or C++ simulators
  • Thorough CPU architectural and micro-architectural functional coverage 
    About you:    
    • 3+ years of CPU Verification expertise
    • 3 years of CPU Architecture and Micro-Architecture know-how
    • Expertise in C++, Python, and Assembly language programming
    • Deep understanding of CPU Architectural concepts
    • Skilled in developing and implementing test benches, building regression infrastructure
    • Proficient in debugging failures and evaluating design coverage
    • Additional skills highly desired: System Verilog/UVM, Random Test Generators, Functional coverage 
          Education:
          • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science 
            & 5 years of related experience; or MS & 3 years

The full base pay range for this role is between $124,900 and $201,800.
